Grasshoppers
5-10 years
The club runs the Tennis NZ initiated and endorsed Grasshoppers coaching programme. Grasshoppers develops each childs basic ball skills, hitting, throwing, catching and exercise - for use as an introduction to tennis and as a basis for a wide range of favourite NZ ball sports

Sessions:
Grasshopper Tennis Tribe Red 1 (5-7yrs)
Ideal for: Children completely new to the game or with very little experience
Time: Monday/Friday or Wednesday 3.30-4.15pm
(Two Fridays because of Two Monday Public Holidays this term)
Grasshopper Tennis Tribe Red 2 (5-7yrs)
Ideal for: Children who learnt some of the basics last year and feel ready for the next steps, or who are just naturally gifted sportspeople!
Time: Monday/Friday 4.15-5pm
(Two Fridays because of Two Monday Public Holidays this term)
Grasshopper Tennis Tribe Orange 1 (7-10yrs)
Ideal for: Those new to the game or with very little experience
Time: Monday/Friday 5.00-6.00pm
(Two Fridays because of Two Monday Public Holidays this term)
Grasshopper Tennis Tribe Orange 2 (7-10yrs)
Ideal for: Juniors who learn't many of the basics last year and are now ready to learn the next step
Time: Wednesday 4.15-5.15pm
