Moira has been coaching at Taupo Tennis Club for 16years and holds her community coaching levels 1 & 2. She has also completed the NZPTCA Level 1 course but is yet to sit the exam.
It is an understatement to say that Moira is passionate about Tennis. She has been involved in the sport of tennis all her life growing up in a strong tennis family. Moira is also hands on in the club organisations, and wears many other titles such President, Business House Convener, and carries out all the duties of a Club Captain.
She keeps active as a player with her name adorning the club honours board many times over in Singles, Doubles and Mixed events. She is also a regular entrant on the Seniors tournament calendar and represents the district at regional events. Her latest success comes as a member of the winning team for their section, at the Easter Teams Event 2011.
Moira loves working with children, and has a great rapport with all the kids that have crossed her path, not just at the club, but also within the local schools delivering the TNZ Grasshopper initiative.
Moira is available for private individual or group lessons.
